I really do think that God has been trying to self-disclose to humanity via "Scriptures"

but people tend too much to think of these as like a "Shop Manual for the Proper Use And Operation of Your God" while the actuality is a lot more personal -- distorted by all that good human stuff God breathed into us --

in the way these things get written and in the way each person reads them.

A long time ago I chose to point my attention towards this perspective: "What happens in my life is God's lesson/message for my edification & enlightenment." I'd found this idea hinted in a Sufi book; and later in George Fox: ~"God is here to teach His people Himself."

But when I try to just "write about God" the way I really want to -- People just don't get it. God uses stories; I should learn from that!

----

Yes, I really do believe I should "identify with the Divine in me" because the other stuff is costuming from God's Big Halloween Party. How well I can "choose" to do so, however...

Many of my poems are truly "inspired" but I also have to write and edit them by hand. "The Divine in me" takes the form of humanity, as it does in everyone else.

All of us working together on "How Can Eternal Life Be A Blessing? -- The Lab Course."forresthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13861950371962268402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33242988.post-52530548411951211302013-09-04T04:19:08.425-07:002013-09-04T04:19:08.425-07:00hey forrest!
